Metro Station is an Electro band that formed in
Hollywood, California, in 2006. They signed to
Columbia/Red Ink Records and are now best
known for their top-ten hit "Shake It".Metro
Station was started by Mason and Trace in 2006
after their mothers introduced them to each
other on the set of Hannah Montana, since
Mason's brother, Mitchel, and Trace's
half-sister, Miley, are on Hannah Montana. Since
they both shared musical interests, they decided
to use it in the creation of a band. Shortly
thereafter, Cyrus recruited Blake Healy from
Synthetic Joy as a keyboardist, synthesizer, and
bassist. While Mason remained the lead singer
